6. Videos
To show you guys how my device works, I had capture these videos.
How the device work?
It work by having the wind to turn the fan, after that, the loop will submerge into the bubble solution, when it turn back up, the wind would than "blow" the bubble out. The bubble would then be a form of the wind. And you as a person should eat/bite the bubble to taste it. It would taste like ice cream flavors.
thus
"EAT THE WIND TO FEEL THE ICE CREAM"

5. Construct it
Materials needed:
- Loop ----------------------------------------- x4
- Screw and Nut ------------------------------------ x8 each
- Rubber band ---------------------------------- x2
- End nut -------------------------------------- x1
- Ball bearing ---------------------------------- x1
- Aluminium rod (60cm) -------------------------- x1
- Thin wire ---------------------------------------- x1 roll
- Fish Tank/Storage box ----------------------- x1
- Acrylic Sheet (30cm x 30cm) ----------------- x1
- Edible Bubble solution ---------------------------- x1 bottle
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Instructions:
- Use the template given, cut acrylic sheet using a lazer machine.
- Using a heat gun, twist the blades to an angle.
- Secure the ball bearing in the middle and leave the fan aside.
- Coil the thin wire around the loop and secure it onto the fan using screws and nuts.
- Create a 5cm bend on the aluminium rod.
- Place 1 rubber band onto the bend, then the fan, then another rubber band.
- After that, use a hot glue gun and secure the end nut to the bend.
- Once the wind mill is done, secure it to the fish tank.
- Pour edible bubble solution into the tank, ensure that the loop is submerge into it.
- Last but not least, place it at a windy place and eat the bubbles. :)

3. Processes
EAT THE WIND TO FEEL THE ICE CREAM!
![]() |
| Mind-map to get ideas. Brain storming. |
![]() |
| 3.1) A funnel to capture the wind all over the place and direct it to the mist. The wind would then carry the mist and goes into the person mouth. |
![]() |
| 3.2) Works like an asthma inhaler, press the pump and the pressure would than have a gush of wind. The pump would be flavor thus the wind has taste. |
![]() |
| 3.3) Both design above was rejected, thus thought of a new idea which is bubbles. Bubbles has a form, which is air inside it. Thus, enable people to see it, therefore eat it. |
![]() |
| 3.4) Designed bubble machine 1 by swinging the bubble wand, it would capture the wind and the bubble would form. Bubble solution would be also flavored. Once bubble in the air, bite it! |
![]() |
| 3.5) Designed bubble machine 2 Rotating wands. This would enable interaction. People are suppose to turn the handle, so when the wind blow, bubble would form. BITE BUBBLE!!! |
![]() |
| 3.6) Designed bubble machine 3 Rotating wands. Fully function by wind. When there is wind, the wand would than rotate itself, and also form the bubble. This cycle would continue until the wind stops. |
I had chosen the design on Image 3.6 to modify. :)
2.
I am so tired, I need a break from all those walking, thus I sat at Lasalle, it has a open space which is very windy, the wind is so strong that when I open my mouth to catch the wind, it feels like I am eating an ice cream.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chosen this place as it was very windy, and it feels cold as if i was eating an ice cream, therefore creating this line;
"Eat the wind to feel the Ice cream!"
I am suppose to create a device that would represent or act out the above line.
